What is Statistical Significance?
In A/B testing, statistical significance is a way of proving that a specific result (like a higher conversion rate) isn't just a lucky coincidence.
How it Works
This calculator uses a "two-tailed Z-test" to compare the conversion rates of two groups (Control A and Variation B). It calculates the probability (p-value) that the difference occurred by chance.
Confidence Levels
Most marketers aim for a 95% confidence level. This means there is only a 5% chance that the results are random. If your test isn't significant yet, you may need to run it longer to gather more data.
